Intro

This is my Airsoft page, I play in the Loveland area.  I get together with various players about 3-5 times a week.  If we had a team name it would be

"Rocky Mountain Mercenaries"

Some abbreviations I use on the page.

RDS = Red Dot Sight

LS = Laser Sight

Sc = Scope

E, S, G = Electric, Spring, Gas

Rules of Useing this page

1. You may only contact a player if you are interested in Airsoft.

2. You must plan on using an area designated by this website, absolutly no parks, and never next to a main road.

Rules on Playing airsoft

1. Teams must be even, unless okayed by all players.

2. Generally an electric gun is worth 2-3 springs.  If there are 2 or more electrics, each team must have an equal amount.  Odd one not out.

3. No matter how good your gun is, try and stay within range of the worst gun.

4. Finding cover is smart, camping is just cheap.

5. You may only call times if all your clips are completly empty.

6. You may not shoot someone who is putting BB's in a clip, you may shoot someone who is reloading their gun.

7. If you have ammo in a clip and are putting BB's in another clip (topping off), it is perfectly legal to shoot you.

8. Winding up or reloading a high capacity magazine counts as reloading.

9. Each team must offer to switch locations every game.

10. Players may switch teams between matches.

11. Players may switch guns as long as its okayed by the owners of the guns.  You break it you buy it.

12. Head, Neck, and Torso (including shoulders) shots are outs.  Any lower body shots are a down.

13. If someone surrenders you may not shoot them, they are now your hostage.

14. A hostage may only be guarded by 1 person.  A hostage has the right to keep their gun, not use it.

15. Honor system if you are shot you must follow the rules regarding that shot.

16. Only authorized armor is Goggles and Gloves.

Conditions

Out Down Hostage
Vitals are hit Lower Body is hit Surrendered
You are out of the game. You need an escort to move far You must stay with the guard
you may walk out of the arena and watch You may move to cover normally, once You may not run away from guard

You may observe, not spy You are still a team player You may talk once rescued
You are out 1 more hit and you're out. You are out until rescued
*As long as you are okay with them using it

Rules of Thumb

1. If someone is really hurt from a shot (like in the ear), be kind and pause the game to make sure they are alright.

2. If you sneak up right behind on a lone enemy, give them the chance to surrender.

3. Keep melee to an absolute minimum.

4. In warm weather use a T-shirt, in cold weather, use a sweatshirt.  You must be able to feel a shot.

5. You don't need to stand trial if you accidently shoot someone after they are out, games are very chaotic and mistakes happen.

6. Don't go full auto on someone, small bursts are adequate.

7. Give the people with crappy guns a chance.  Stay in range.

Good Courses

1. Cat Tails - The Path between Neighborhoods, next to the Railroad Tracks, it is surronded by Cat Tails on both sides.  Excellent Course for Night time and more than 4 players.

2. Abandoned house - An abandoned houses Backyard, a greenhouse and flora are great cover.  Great for 2-4 players

3. Mac's Backyard - Great for 2-4 players, ask Mac before use.

4. Webb's Backyard - Good for 2-4 players, Camoren or Zach Webb must be present.  Not good for night time.

5. Bee Hive - North of the Cat Tail course, this course is great for more than 4 people, and use of Tactics.  Not good for Night Time.  It's pretty big, so good guns are essential.

My Electrics

My M14

This is the gun I use, it is an M14 Designated Marksman Rifle.  It is currently used by the Armed Services to extend the effective range of a squad.  The Airsoft Gun can reach distances up to 200 ft.  It is very accurate with .2 BBs.  It is 11 lbs.

My AK47

This is a good electric gun I got as a gift from my Auntie Karen.

My Dragunov Sniper Rifle

A good electric gun my Auntie Karen gave to me, it has 380 fps.

My MP5 PDW

A good electric gun my Auntie Karen gave to me.  I use it as a secondary weapon in case I have to do some CQB

My Springers

My M4

My M4 is the first gun I bought, it is a spring gun, and it works great never had any problems with it.  I outfitted it with a vertical foregrip and a Red dot sight for night time use.  I cant upgrade it much at all, but it is an excellent gun for someone who sits back in the fight and picks off people from a short distance.  It doesn't have great distance, but it is an adequate gun for use against electrics.  As long as the one using it uses smart tactics and teamwork, they should be just fine.  Its specialty is at night, because I tweaked the sights to be easier to use.  My gun does not have the scope included in the picture.

My M9 Beretta

This is the M9 Beretta pistol.  Mine is a Spring gun.  I use it with a holster in combat.  I have 2 clips for it.  It is a good gun for CQB.

My 1911 Colt .45

I lend this Spring gun out to those who don't have a gun.  It BBs hit high of the sight, so I plan on using .15s or .2s in the future.  I can use it in my holster, and I have 1 - 25 round clip for it.

Aron's UMP .45

These guns are cheap, they don't fire far, they are mainly for giving those who don't have a gun some sort of protection if they want to play.  They are very reliable as far as not jamming though.  His guns dont have the stock, compensator, or crosshair sight shown in picture.

Cameron Webb's Guns

Cameron has a Panther Arms M4 (Spring), it has a laser sight.

Cameron has 2 of these with 10 clips.  These guns are cheap, but they function, and are great for holding an area, mainly because of the abundance of ammo for them.

He also has a Desert Eagle he keeps in a holster, he has 2 high capacity clips for it.  It is fairly accurate.
